Memorial Tributes
I am grieved to learn of Richard's passing. We were friends from elementary and middle school, sharing interests in math and science. Through annual telephone chats we kept each other up-to-date on our lives and interests. He always had insightful input into whatever the topic was for that year. Richard was very smart! A keen intellect has been lost.
Dick and I worked as mainframe software developers at Amdahl in the '80s. We had many lively technical discussions, but I will always think of him as a musician. He frequently manned the piano at SHARE meetings.Our world has become less bright with Dick's passing. R.I.P.
RIP, Richard. May you live in a better world some where else.
