Dick Fagerstrom was a great teacher and supportive mentor during my high school and college years. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. His enthusiasm for his subjects and his quiet and sophisticated sense of humor made US history and government classes so much fun to attend. He and his beautiful wife Linda (a Mills College Alum) were my driving inspiration to attend Mills College.
