This memorial website was created in memory of Rich, who passed away on March 24, 2022, in La Quinta, California, surrounded by our family. He had been battling brain cancer. We will remember him and honor his memory forever.
The family welcomes donations in Rich's name to either:
- the American Brain Tumor Association, a granting agency that funds peer-reviewed medical research (bit.lyDonateABTA), or
- the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund (www.ouimet.org), which awards need-based college scholarships to worthy young people who've worked at Massachusetts golf courses. Rich benefited from a Ouimet scholarship during his years at Holy Cross.
I'm so sorry to hear of Rich's passing. I have such fond memories of working as a technician in his lab at the University of Alberta. He was a brilliant man, a great boss, mentor and friend - I learned so much from him and I'm grateful.

So sorry to read this- have not seen Dick since a HC reunion many years ago. But he was a great guy and classmate at the Cross.
