I remember him when he was in campus ministry at SJSU.  I guess he came to mind when I read Uwe Siemon-Netto's book THE ACQUTTAL OF GOD. It surprised me to find that Eberhard Bethge, the friend and biographer of Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote the forward to the book. I remember talking to him about Bonhoeffer many years ago. He heard Bethge speak. Wish I could have talked to him again.
