I will always remember him as Fr. "Dick". I remember being sadden when I found out he was leaving Bishop Fenwick the year before my senior year. He was a great listener and teacher. You will be missed.

Rest in peace Father Dick, will always remember you and the teachings you gave while I attended Fenwick. You were a great friend to all your students. From the times in class to treadwells for ice cream to playing the organ for you at the Saturday afternoon mass in the school chapel. Will miss you  God Bless

Rest In Peace Father Dick.  You guided & mentored me when I needed it most, as a stranger in this country at age 15, enrolled at Fenwick.  I made it through the next two yrs at Fenwick & few yrs after that because of your Shepherding... Even though it was about 36 yrs ago I never forgot you & never will.  Rest with the Lord & Angels & Mother Mary...!!

The heavens are singing this day, this special day, celebrating your birthday ~ the day an incredible soul was born to share his light on all those who surrounded him.   A day where lifelong friendships would be passed out, before their meetings ~  those that would bring forth much knowledge to the chosen ones that found this friendship ~ knowledge collected and shared by you to others to share with them ~ all the possibilities of knowing “GOD” and all connected to his infinite sources ~ gifts shared with all who embraced this.  

~ I am so thankful and blessed to call you “Dearest Friend” That over the years ~ although it is one long day which is life extended ~ my life is blessed and humbled by knowing such a giving, selfless person.  

~ My young lesson from you of gifting over a doll to a child who never had one ~ I will never forget how  you graciously asked me to give it away   ~ I saw your light in your words  ~ even at this tender age and in doing so ~ my  young learning heart was changed forever ~ and so it is ~ the lessons that shaped our friendship always evolving and always will ~ I will forever be “thankful”    

~On this very special day, the 16th of July ~ the day that your sweet, generous soul entered  this earth my dearest friend ~ the world became an even better place with one more giving spirit, guiding others and asking nothing in return ~
