The reverend Phillips did a fine job caring for members of Village Presbyterian. He'll be missed.

Dr. Phillips was a fine person who was an ongoing source of guidance and inspiration to me. I loved his pulpit jokes and he would begin most sermons with a very funny “church quality” story. This would always break the ice,so to speak, and cause a hardy chuckle from the congregation. He was a fine preacher who always endeavored to impart a clearer understanding of the Bible to us.
