I was honored to be Ray's daughter-in-law for 35 years. He had a true love of life and people. What a generous heart he had! We will miss him. I think of him every time I water the little lemon tree he started from a seed.
Am so sad to hear about Ray Edwards passing. We have played a lot of Bridge with Doris and Ray, at the senior center in Dublin and also in their home. Ray was alwYs had a smile on his face. They have such a great family. My thoughts go out to Doris and his family.

Ray you always had a smile for everyone. He was a Christian husband, father grandfather and friend. He will be missed by us.

I arrived at Chabot College in 1989 to teach math and Ray was my colleague for two years. He was an outstanding teacher, and a wonderful mentor to me. I learned a lot about teaching from him, and about how to be a kind human being. He was a fine person.
