I am so so sorry for your loss. Randy was loved by so many. My favorite memories of Randy was when we were young and all get together to play UNO. He was quietly witty with funny one liners. A bit mischievous, too! He was extremely thoughtful and adored Jeanne. I would like to believe that Larry and Randy are at peace causing a little bit of trouble together. Rest In Peace my friend.
I remember Randy growing up in the Rosemary Garden Neighborhood as kids. Though three years younger than I and same age as my brother, we played sports together on the Walter L Bachrodt Eementary school grounds. Randy was an all-around athlete, good at every sport and a happy-go-lucky guy.
My favorite Randy story:
My brother and I were Topps Baseball Card Collectors. We’ve probably spent all of our allowance and gift money on baseball cards in hopes to acquire the famous elusive ‘65 Willie Mays prize. One day Randy came over to show us his newly acquired pack of cards, and lo and behold in those 5-cards he just spent a nickel on was the ‘65 Willie Mays card. The kindhearted person Randy was, he gave my Brother and I the Mays card.
Our condolences to Randy’s family and his tight-knit school friends. Our prayers and thoughts will always be with Randy.
