I’ve known Ralph for about 45 years, having worked with him at US Steel. He was always the consummate gentleman, and he was great at his craft. Whenever we had breakdowns, knowing Ralph was going to be either fixing it or supervising the repair was really reassuring. He totally knew his stuff. Great sense of humor too! I will definitely miss him. It was an honor to have known him.
