Helen, Bill, and I love the photo we have included here because it captures the essence of our mom--her warmth, her beauty, her sense that all was well with the world when she was in her beloved garden at their home in Cambriidge. Mom tended her garden lovingly, as she did her children and husband, Rick. with whom she is now reunited.
Ms. Hunt's memorial was posted on Oberlin College's FB group. The post triggered memories of a grand lady and alumna. Ms. Hunt generously offered housing to students on winter term projects in the Boston area. In hindsight, my staying with the Hunts in Jan 1986 was an eye opening cultural experience. I still think of her when I crack my bedroom window open at night even in winter.
