In the early 2000's, I was a co-worker. I also considered Phil a friend. A force to be reckoned with, he was omnipresent in our building, "making it happen" and preaching proper ergonomics! In those days, I was an aspiring backyard surfboard shaper, and Phil's constant encouragement, both in words and actions, had a huge influence in my development and perseverance. He will be missed.
