Pete has been a very special friend ever since we met in an IBM training class in 1972 in Los Angeles. I have known him to be a charming, fun loving, honest, hard working gentleman, who was a great father, a great friend to so many, and a great husband to Susan. I have the utmost respect for Pete and I will sorely miss him.
All of us who knew Pete loved his smile, his wonderful sense of humor and his warmth. Over many, many years of knowing, working for and with, and socializing with Pete, I have admired him greatly. Even in these last years, his great sense of humor shined through. But when I think of Pete one word comes to mind immediately, and that is his integrity....thoroughly a man of honor.
