I had the privilege of working with Penny during my career as a special educator within the Anchorage School District. She asked great questions designed to make her colleagues think through challenges and solve problems. She touched many students directly, and even more through her work with fellow educators, many of whom went on to mentor others. May her memory be a blessing.
