Not Ready to Let You Go
I wish that I could tell you
I'm not ready to let you go.
But you've already departed,
And my heart is feeling so low.
I miss that little twinkle
That used to light up your eyes.
And I miss the sound of your voice,
Your laughter and your sighs.
But most of all I miss
The way you made me feel,

Your love was so strong and real.
There are others here who miss you,

Your life touched so many people,
Who became your friends along the way.
They want you to know they love you, too.

As most of you know my dad Pete (Duran) passed away suddenly but peacefully at 1:43 AM on August 5, 2016 of pneumonia.
Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 6:00pm where a vigil will be held at 7:00 at Driscoll's Mortuary, 1465 Valencia St, SF. His funeral will be held Monday, August 22, 2016 at 10:00am at Driscoll's Mortuary and following a procession he will be laid to rest with his parents at Holy Cross Cemetery.
