Well I knew Paul's dad as "Mr Ryden". I remember his deep impressive voice and then "Mrs Ryden's" contagious laugh. They made quite the team. Our families had many laughs as our friendship grew. We both attended Bethel Lutheran Church in Cupertino. Paul and his sister took on their mom's sense of humor as Mr Ryden took the more serious road. I always felt loved by the whole Ryden family.

There are many rooms in my Father's house;...I am going there to prepare a place for you.

When I think of Pete I always smile. I admired him and he was nothing but kind to me. The wild child of the neighborhood. I love the Ryden family. I shall forever. Their house was my safe haven. You will be missed sir.

Robert and I both belonged to Bethel Lutheran Church for many years. Our kids and the Ryden kids were the same age. We really enjoyed both
Lu and Pete. Paul always looked serious to me, but he had a great sense of humor. Lu was such a beautiful lady also and she knew everyone in San Jose. Wonderful family!!
