Mom would have been 85 today. She was the best thing in my life until my boys came along and I miss her incredibly. I'm spending today thinking about her and missing her and doing things that I might have done with her on this day. I love you mom.
The photo I added was Grandma Patty'a 80th birthday. I can't believe that was 5 years ago. This is the first birthday of yours we are not celebrating together but I know we are all celebrating you today in our separate states our hearts are together with you. I miss our conversations after school, I miss your smile, warm smiles and your sneeze that could blow the house down. I love you!
To friends and family- Two years ago today my wonderful, smart, sweet, kind, vibrate, funny, loving mom passed away. She fought a valiant fight against the gallbladder cancer that had taken over her insides, but like so many people she finally gave in and passed away peacefully at home. I miss her so much. I miss her every day. She was the best mom a woman could have.
. There will never be another person like her. And the world is a much poorer place because of that. If you knew my mom you know what I mean. If you didn’t know her I’m sorry, you missed knowing a person of such quality that is gives one hope for our human race. If there is a Heaven, she is there and everyone loves her. Wherever you are raise a toast to Patty
It's strange how 6 years after she died I still miss my mom everyday. I live in the house we shard and am still surrounded by so many physical memories of her. But it's not that. It's the place in my heart where her warmth, intelligence and love live. That place gets empty once in a while and its getting harder to fill it up.
