Candle lit  by Victor Kapella on August 20th, 2025

My mom was a strong, independent woman.

She overcame horrific family trauma.   Put herself through college.   And as a strong single woman, moved to Alaska to start a new life.   She raised a family and contributed to the community.   She was quite content to read a book and spent her later years quietly reading.
