Hi. My condolences to you and your family. There’s a scripture that’s very comforting to read during this time. It’s found at Isaiah 33:24. I hope you find this as heartwarming as I have.
I watch the sun set, and I can’t help but revel in its beauty. I see the sky painted so effortlessly to perfection by God himself. But in beauty, there is pain. I’ll no longer see the sunset the same. See...the sun rose on that Saturday morning of September 16th and your journey began. It must have been a glorious day. When the sun set on Tuesday May 19th, you gained your wings and were called home. I’ll appreciate the beauty of the sunset because with each passing minute it will remind me of the beauty in you...but when the sun finally sets beneath the horizon...that beautifully painted sky will go dark and remind me that your wings were ready, but my heart was not. I love you, nana. Heaven is so lucky to have you.
RIP patty! You are already and will always be extremely missed.Your memories will last forever! I’ll never forget our crazy conversations, our holidays spent together, and all the times you helped cory and I with Ava.Your bond with Ava was one of a kind and cory is setting up a telescope in her room with a photo and a map of you so she can always talk to you! We love u! Don’t stop visiting!
Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday.
Unseen, unheard,
but always near,
so loved, so missed, so very dear.
