Pat was my big sister, my confidante, my joy. I would get excited whenever I got a chance to spend time with her. She was witty, silly and kind, all wrapped into one. Pete and I spending time with her and Frank in Europe, planning family get-togethers, talking about recipes and other things were some of the best hi-lights of my life. She was 14 when I was born and she moved away shortly after high school. Whenever she would come home she would have a surprise for me. That is how I will always remember her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, Brother Don Hicks, sisters Jeanne Day, Claudette Roeder and Sheri Benson.
Aunt Pat,such a strong ,determined, fiesty, loving caring, fun, hands on kind of aunt, small in stature, but big in personality, she lived life on her terms. i will miss you and you calling me that special name, that only u could get away with. I will miss your laughter, you had a distinctive laugh, that always brought a smile upon my face when i would hear it, love you always
