from Barbara Wolf:
Your memorial website is so poignant. Most of the pictures I had never seen so memories of all of those people I loved reached deep into my heart. I am, perhaps, Pat's oldest living friend. I have too many words to share in this space, so have added some memories under the "Stories" tab.
It is with sadness to know that Pat no longer embraces all with her smile and love for life, but a joy to know that she had so many years to share with us all. I am forever blessed to have been embraced by her and Larry early in my teen year while a student of Mr. Wolf at Woodrow Wilson Junior High School and to be brought in as family and "big brother" to Kathy and Jen.
I only knew Pat a short while at First Congregational Church, but I knew her to be an especially loving and open woman with whom I could share a genuine connection.
I absolutely loved the video tribute. She will live forever in our hearts.
from Barbara Kilburn:
Pat was one of the shining stars of our Rebekah Circle at church. She sent out wonderful personalized hand made cards to many of us. She always had a smile and welcomed everyone. We will miss her but her spirit lives in our memories.
from Dorothy Mestemacher:
I will miss Pat very much. The friendship we had was very special to me. She was one of the most unselfish persons I have known and I have many memories of the way she worked with her students. She dearly loved her family and the many ways you found to include her in all activities. You are blessed to have had her as your Mother.
