This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Emory Campbell. We will remember him forever.
Wink and I were stationed together at BUPERS in Washington DC. We made some Detailers trips together. We both advanced to Master Chief the same time. Both of us the new "Young Guns" of the community. Wink was a stellar Master Chief, Shipmate, and Friend. He was an exceptional Leader who ALWAYS set the Highest Example for everyone to emulate. I am truly sorry for your loss.
I met Wink in 1988 when I transferred to Dam Neck. I was a new Master Chief; he helped me tremendously. We found we had a lot in common and soon became the best of friends. He always took care of Sailors and promoted the best interests of the Navy. He will be missed. Rest In Peace, Shipmate.
