This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Norman Ballantine, 90, born on August 7th, 1929 and passed away on April 22nd, 2020. We will remember him forever.
Dr was our family physician for nearly 30 years in Berkeley, CA. Being one of 8 children and raised by an Irish mother from Northern Ireland, we knew a half a century ago that Dr. Ballantine was our favorite Dr. We enjoyed seeing Dr at Sonora pass in recent years-his wit & love are forever in our hearts . Dear Ballantines, your family changed the arc of our lives as we too moved to Berkeley from Northern Ireland simply because Norman & Anne and our Dad and Mom, Matthew and Adela Moles were close friends in "Ulster" and followed the "Ballantine Trail" from Belfast to Berkeley in 1957.
