Our wonderful father passed peacefully at 2:40PM on May 28, 2021 with myself (Kenneth), my brother Steven and his partner Vickie at his side. He will be long remembered as a gregarious and trusting man who brought joy to the lives of everyone he encountered. May you rest in peace Dad.
Your son, Ken
Sending love and sympathy to the Ibrahim family. Niniv was a special man whose legacy lives on in Steven and Kenneth. We hold your father’s memory in our hearts.
I went through Arabic language training in 1973 with "Sayyid Ibrahim" being one of the instructors. What an enjoyable man to be around. He always entered the classroom with a smile and a joke and lightened up everyone's day. We all looked forward to talking with him and laughing with him. He may have departed but he leaves good memories.
As extended family, Uncle Niniv always greeted us with warmth, fun and hospitality. He will always be remembered in our hearts with much love and respect for incredible legacy.
Many fond memories of our wonderful Uncle Niniv! Such an incredible story of coming to America through Ellis Island back in the day. His wonderful spirit and sense of humor will be missed by all.
My deepest sympathies for the passing of your father and friend. He was beloved by all who knew him and will forever remain young in my memories, knowing him since childhood, as Uncle Niniv. May his soul rest in peace.
How many memories I will continue to have of Uncle Niniv. He is synonymous with the Arab Club and my youth. Playing the Dumbuk, barbequing at the Jazz Festival, joking with my dad, taking family portraits of us every Christmas in our home, and yes, always smiling. So forever when thinking of him, I can’t help but smile too.
I am so sorry to learn of Niniv's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who loved him. As with others, I remember him most for his work serving the Arab-American Club, and the joyful fellowship he shared with many participants and volunteers. Bless him, as he has come home.
This made me so sad to read. He was the sweetest of men, I knew him through the Methodist church and also when we volunteered at the Church Mouse shop. He always had funny jokes to tell and loved life, seemed evervescent and just filled with so much joy! He left an amazing legacy and I will always cherish the memories.
