In life you have a handful of friends you can call a close friend, one you could count on if needed. Nick was one of mine. Some of our best trips were with Nick. We had many laughs and I will dearly miss hearing his pure laugh, seeing his smile, and knowing he is just there. Love, Mike & Linda
We will miss you dearly. Love, Jeffrey & Angie Czerak
The things I admired most about Nick were his love for the outdoors, his sense of adventure, that he was always up for having fun, hanging out, or drinking a beer, and that he was always energetic, happy, and positive.
Nick had a strong sense of family. He would go out of his way to see someone for a visit. He was on a business trip in the NW and drove over to Yellowstone after to see us. Of course he and Larry went fishing.
I will miss his happy eyes and the way he would look you right in the eyes when talking to you. love you, Judy
Nick was the most amazing human- always positive, always giving of his friendship and help no matter what the situation.
He was an example for all of us on what humankind should be like.
Godspeed my good friend!
Nick was the guy you loved seeing coming towards you. He could keep a smile on his face during the tensest moments. You could always trust that he was looking for the best solution for everyone around him. I was ecstatic when he came back to Mentor, and I'm saddened that he is gone so soon.
Nick was such a special person, he always cared about others. Working with Nick we had many laughs together even in difficult situations. Recently when he came to the office, talked on the phone or we had lunch, Nick talked about Lidija and the kids, the vacations he had taken, the fishing trips with his brother, his health and how he was doing. Some special conversations I will remember.
Nick was a great friend. He always took the time to listen. He was a great guy to talk with and share a laugh. He was always excited to take his boat out on Fort Meadow Reservior to water ski or just to ride around. He loved sports and was always up for a game of one kind or another. We need great people like Nick in this world. It is especially sad to lose him.
Sad that you have left us. Will remember your kind spirit that enjoyed experiencing life and your smile. Rest In Peace. Alaska calls you back.
We'll miss your warm, caring and helpful soul Nick !
It's been a pleasure and honor to have known you and work with you in the past three years. I wish we had more time, but I'm sure you're in good place now. I bet you're smiling up there and having fun.

We miss you. We love you.

You will really be missed, you had this extremely genuine smile and positiveness. You were extremely active, proactive and considerate.
The feel of loss of someone as good as you are is always very tough.
Nick sad to see you go but glad you were part of my life. Thank you for the good times and your warm friendship.
Loved you and will miss you!
Nick was one of the best parts of my life, my extended families life, and words can not express the emptiness we all feel at his passing. Nick was a great friend to me and a great uncle to my children. We considered him a member of our extended family and will always feel the same. Like a human artist he painted us with his love. God be with you. We love you.
it is a pleasure to know such generous cheerful active man like Nick.
You will be really missed!
Nick was such a wonderful presence to all those who knew him. I am inspired by how he exuded such enthusiasm for all the wonderful things in this world to be discovered and enjoyed! He brought so much love to our dear friend Lidija and her family and our hearts go out in deepest sympathy to them. Love, Cathy Saleh
I cannot put into words the depth of the loss I and my family feel. This is only possible because of the human being he was and because of the beautiful spirit he is. Lidija, Rudi, and Katja, you are in our thoughts and prayers. He had a special way of making the people in his life feel loved and cherished.
We miss you, Nick!
RIP Nick, you will be missed.
I met Nick in a 4 week Mentor Graphics new hire training class in Oregon in 1985. I was struck by his warmth, friendliness, genuineness, endless curiosity, but also that he was his own man - he went off on his own 1 or 2 of the weekends that month because, I assume, the beauty of the northwest beckoned. I join others in appreciating Nick's humanity. Always positive & smiling. Miss you.
Nick was such a wonderful, kind and compassionate man. I feel blessed to have known him and witness the care he selflessly gave to loved ones. My deepest sympathies to Lidija and family, and to all of Nick's family and friends. Rest In Peace, Nick.
Nick - your warmth and generous spirit live on through those who were touched by you. Your kindness, strength and love ran so deep and so full. I will be forever grateful for having known you. Lidija, my heart & love goes out to you, yours' & Nick's families & friends. Have a sweet & peaceful rest Nick.
I never got to know you well Nick, but I could tell when I first met you that you were a good person. I wish I had taken you up on your invite to go boating. We would have had a good time. My mistake.
