It is with sadness that I have come to learn of the passing of Nick Humez.
He was the founder of the Maine Composer's Forum in the late 1980s through 1990s
where so many wonderful musical works  were premiered and showcased

I remember his  quirky and UPBEAT  demeanor in our encounters. A wonderful artisan, craftsman, composer, silversmith, and index-er. He was so accomplished in so many areas. His masterpiece Myth Songs based on mythology will LIVE ON, of that I AM CERTAIN.
My sincere condolences to all who have had the honor of knowing him.

I reach for your WIT and UPBEAT SPIRIT, Nick, and
Possible Guidance, in these Very Challenging Times
