I met Nadja after her kids grew up and she moved into the small unit in her back yard to rent out the main house. She told us she was looking for a family to rent to, but we persuaded her that our bunch of young hippies were a family, and we moved in. Nadja was very kind to us, and we had to twist her arm to accept more rent than she asked for - it was just too low. A great lady.
I was one of the lucky ones to have been a friend of Nadjas. I learned to be a creative person through her while spending time in the Yurt making piqué assets. I will miss her and her gentle way of saying "don't fret" when I thought my work wasn't perfect. She was the best and I will miss her.
