O Allah, forgive Muhammad Ali-Salaam of any misgivings and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it. The Sabree and Mannie Muhammad families.

Peace to you Muhammad.
I always enjoyed our interactions while working at City Hall. You have a wonderful spirit…then and now.
I don’t know why, but I thought of you this week after all these years. It wasn’t until this evening I learned of your passing.
Keep well Muhammad.

To God we belong and to Him we shall return!

May Allah grant him peace, protect his soul, and grant him access to the highest palace in Heaven. May He SWT lit his grave, shower him with endless mercy and grace and forgive all his shortcomings.

Today was a beautiful and sad day....my beloved mentor Muhammad Ali- Salaam who taught me everything about Boston Urban Planning and City Government passed. He was a quiet warrior who showed this young Latina (in her 20s) how to navigate Boston City Hall - always with the community voice at its center. It wasn't easy being an educated Latina working at the politically charged BRA, I thought I was so ready, but Muhammad was the only one who took me under his wing with no agenda just because he knew I had good intentions. Thank you Muhammad. You showed me how to be a better leader, you always said blessings follow the good work. You never got angry and laughed at me when people pissed me off and I would storm into your office often cursing, you would say, "Hey! lets go get coffee." The love and respect we had was mutual.  I will always cherish our Jackson Square planning days. Thank YOU for the love you showed me when I needed it the most. Rest in peace until we meet again.

From Allah we come and to him we return.

Uncle Muhammad was such a pure soul. May Allah keep him steadfast during the questioning, and elevate his status amongst those in the highest level in Jannah. Allah Yerhamu

I read today's notice with great sadness. Both before and during my tenure at City Hall, Muhammad was an enormous help to me. His assistance was not only technical, but his attitude and demeanor were strong positive examples to me as a young professional.
