Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of dear Mrs. Tighe.  She will forever be in our hearts and her kindness will never be forgotten. We will miss talking and seeing Mona, out for her walks on Geraldine Dr. She was a bright light and a wonderful person.  She will always hold a special place in our son Jimmy's heart, he loved talking to her and sharing stories. Hugs and prays for all of Mona's family. She was a very special friend of mine. I met her at Stony Brook - where else right? She taught me so much about birding. So many memories of the fun times we had. One was we were standing by the spillway chatting and heard this weird noise and said what was that?!? Then 2 sandhill cranes flew over us.
