I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Heppert's passing. He was my PE teacher in the late 70's/early 80's at St.Michael's Episcopal School. Mr. Heppert always made PE and gymnastics club fun. He had a lifelong impact on me-I remember him most as one of my favorite teachers-he was always kind and always had a smile. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.-Elizabeth Burke(Smith)

Judy, I was so shocked to learn of Mike's death.  This was much too soon. I know you gave him a great life because no one can smile like he did and not be happy. My blessings and prayers to you and your beautiful family.

Today is the day you will be laid to rest
But you know what they say
God only takes the best
Your loving heart and bright smile will always be remembered by many friends
Although we are sad and mourning
We have happy memories to hold on to until we meet again

Mike and I coached against one another for a number of years when he was at St. Michael's and I at Stony Point.  He was always friendly, and never gloated when we lost and he won - which was a lot of the time.  Mike was a true gentleman who was dedicated to seeing that "his kids" had the healthiest of lifestyles.  He will be missed.  I send my sincere sympathy to his family and friends.
