Mr. Mister was my teacher in 7th grade at Hyde and I thought he was the best! He made learning fun. I often spoke of him growing up. I'm so sad to hear of his passing. Rest in peace.
Mr. Mister was my 8th grade science teacher at Hyde Jr. High in 77-78. He made science fun and made kids feel valued. We occasionally ran into each other after I came to Morgan Hill for my job with CAL FIRE and he was just as kind then as all those years ago. Rest In Peace Mr. Mister you were one of a kind and I will miss you.
What a wonderful tribute for an inspiring teacher and the beloved brother of my gentle friend Anne. Thank you for sharing with all of us. We are sorry for your loss and wish you all peace as the days go by.
I first met Mike when he was my teacher, while I attended Doyel Elementry. He was the first teacher who truly believed in me. Mike was the only teacher I kept in contact with since 1970. When I became a man with a family he would always correct me when I called him Mr Mister he would say you can call me Mike now, I continued to call him Mr Mister out of love and respect. Rest easy Mike.
Mike and I graduated from Fremont High in Sunnyvale, class of 1956. Mike was a humble gentleman always with an easy smile. I was very happy to see him again at our 50 year reunion and campus tour and we shared happy memories together of our days as senior class officers. He was "Mister Mister" to most of us classmates; still makes me smile 64 years later. I will miss "Mister Mister."
