Many are smart, but some are truly intelligent. From the first day in law school and forever thereafter, Michael saw things more quickly and in greater depth and detail than we. Then his eloquent words were always instructive, moving, memorable and often humorous which reverberate still. He is one of the most intelligent and good men that I have been blessed to know.

The Massachusetts Municipal Lawyers Association extends its sincere condolences to Mike's family and friends.  Mike was an active and well respected member in the MMLA.  He generously gave his advice and friendship to many and was a great mentor.  Mike's work as a municipal government attorney greatly made local government better and helped serve the public.  We will miss Mike's friendship
