Much love and hugs to all you girls and children! We loved your dear dad and love your mom?? We will write some memories in another place. Special times together beginning in 1979 when we arrived in Taiwan ?? Prayerfully Elinda and Ron West
Bob and I lived next door to many people through the years but never had better neighbors than Mike and Kitty and the girls--our children grew up together and have an indelible place in our hearts. They are a tribute to amazing parents. Mike was in all senses of the word a Gentle man--a loving father and a treasure of a friend. He blessed and impacted many lives--including ours.
We have sweet memories of Mike, Kitty And family while in Taichung from 1974-82. They were a support to our family during that time. Our prayers are with the Wilson family during this homegoing time. Mike, Randy, Shawna, Jeremy Norfleet
Uncle Mike and Aunt Kitty were a big part of our lives while in Taiwan. Our families loved to go out to eat together because of the attention we received! The Wilsons with their six girls and our family with five girls made quite an impression in Taiwanese restaurants! I remember Uncle Mike being a gentle man with a great sense of humor. Wilsons, you are in our prayers.
I echo those who have used the words "gentle" and "kind" to describe Mike, and I'll add patience. I knew
him and his family through our mission family, but also as my Geometry teacher. I can still see him, calmly sitting at his desk with his signature smile. I was the recipient of much patience! My love and prayers go out to Kitty and all the dear family.
