This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Melvyn Stromfeld, 87, born on November 29th, 1932 and passed away on November 8th, 2020. We will remember him forever.
I was honored and privileged to know the Stromfeld’s. Mel was a humble man full of strength and encouragement. He accomplished so much in his lifetime.We are all blessed to have been a part of his life. Rest In Peace Mel.
I first met Mel when I was a trainee for Alpine Meadows Ski Patrol nearly 18 years ago. He was one of my mentors and an inspiration to not only myself but everyone on our volunteer & professional patrol. Mel was a gentleman, scholar, and all around wonderful human being. He will be missed. Rest In Peace my friend.
This world could sure use more people like Mel. A true friend and generous man.I had the pleasure of his friendship for nearly 30

A Man among Men... Mel, so incredibly special, such a warm heart and smile. I am missing you terribly buddy. You always asked about my family, and brought such happiness wherever you were. We first met in 1989 when I transferred to the Alpine Patrol. Always welcoming and a friend to all. You can be my 101 any time! I look forward to seeing you on the other side. Peace
