So sorry to hear of Mel’s passing   He was a great guy and a fabulous colorist.  He did my color in Newton for many years.  He was tough on the outside, but he had a big heart.  Sorry for your loss.

I knew Mel and his parents at Mystic Pointe in Aventura, Fl.  Mel was a real gentleman and a scholar.  Mel brightened the whole complex when he walked around the Condo on a daily basis.  He was always optimistic and pleasant to everyone.  He brought a wealth of knowlege to the residents at the board meetings.  He was just a great guy and will be sorely missed.  I am glad to have known him.
