I had the pleasure of knowing Melanie as she was a neighbor of mine on Ciderpress Way.  We got to know each  other slowly over the years and we shared the interest of flowers, bridge, canasta, pets and of course pride in our children and grandchildren.  Melanie was a unique individual with much to offer the world.  I will miss our conversations.
