Ice cream at the corner store in Sharon, tours of gardens grown from teeny plants, blueberries picked fresh off bushes grown from twigs, peonies and hydrangeas in the mail, gardening advice, stories of a tough childhood, stories of a visit to get Glenn a haircut, Corny jokes and smiles. Dad, I treasure these memories and so many more. We will miss you.

Sorry we will be unable to attend this morning's service, but Jack fell this morning and is having trouble today, which is Jack's 91st birthday. We remember fondly our Friday evening get-togethers with Mel and Linda. We had lots of laughs. We remember how much Mel loved our dog Frosty and consequently got Dakota who turned out to be such a blessing to him. Mel will be sorely missed.

Thanksgiving Dinners as young children,45 strong,never knowing how much Mel loved that,I don't recall his staying a few days though he told me that not so long ago. My summer spent in Dorchester hanging out with Mel & friends. Some of the best memories of my youth. i shall miss our emails full of love joy!
