The news of Maxine's transition has really made me sad. She was such a vibrant beautiful woman. She brought life to the department of Human and Cultural Services. She always developed innovative ideas for the division. Whenever I see a fern (plant) I think about her ability to nurture and grow them. May you all be blessed. Her life, her legacy, such a beautiful woman.
