This memorial website was created in the memory of our father, Maximiano Oliveira.  His life evolved around his love for his family, soccer and Sao Miguel, Acores.  He looked forward to going back home every year for the Feast of Santo Christo and visiting with his brothers, sisters and their children.  
He enjoyed making you laugh and when people talk about him it usually starts off with a smile and good story about something silly that he had done.   He was certainly hard working and spent his retirement playing soccer well into his sixties, playing cards at his sports club, chatting with his neighbors and of course cleaning up all the leaves in his yard and the neighborhood as well.
