Max, you were a bridge for all at HVC.  Though you taught 2nd, you connected with so many across grade levels.  Your memory for  students' families always amazed!  Students appreciated that you remembered their primos, tios, and abuelitos.  You were the first one to hold Julian at the HVC Christmas gathering at Anita's in 1998.  I cherish that memory, sweet Max!  cariño y abrazos,  Julie
