I knew Max from my time volunteering at the Pioneer Home.  He was wonderful----always upbeat, friendly and such a kind man.  My heart is hurting for all of you----you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Linda Johnson

I have many happy memories of Uncle Max from visiting Max & Carol ... at Racine, at the lake cabin, at Portland and then in Anchorage.  Max was a fantastic host. He really loved people and also enjoyed being a 'tour guide' with tons of interesting stuff for a wide-eyed kid from the Midwest. My sympathies and prayers to the family losing a loving Christian father/grandfather.  Chuck & Sue H

Dear Cousins~
Wish Max & Carol were still on this earth as we remember them...Adults but youthful & so happy to welcome family into their home. ..all the delicious meals & “snacks”—-especially the trip to Anchorage in 1989. We three-Jim, Celia & son Paul were entertained 12 hours a day- July in Alaska! Now M&C are looking down from Heaven. J & C
