I am truly brokenhearted upon reading of your Mother's passing this morning. Your Mom was the only person outside of my parents and David that I cannot ever remember a time when I did not know her. In my absolute earliest and vaguest recollections, she is there, Her passing closes a long and old chapter in my life. I loved her dearly as did everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. She was the very first person to tell me about Jesus and His love for me. She would make me fresh squeezed orange juice and we would sit on the back porch barefoot and drink it together. I know that she is safe at home with God. If there is a heaven, Mavis Green is surely there. She was truly a most beautiful soul and I will always hold a special place for her in my heart, forever and ever. You boys had a fine, wonderful and beautiful mother. Not everyone can say that.
