This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Maurice SUSSMAN, 94, born on March 2nd, 1922 and passed away on July 12th, 2016. We will remember him forever.
Maurice gave me an orchid plant when he was chair at Pitt Biological Sciences. I got interested in raising orchid plants, and now my living room has 8 "phals" in bloom. He and Mrs Sussman were always friendly and encouraged the students in the department.
