I can remember the first time I met Maish. His gusto and enthusiasm was infectious. He would lean close into me and offer some advice, some compliment or some ribald comment and we would both break out in guffaws. I can feel his strong arms around my neck pulling me, telling me about a play he loved or a some bastard he hated. He was a force of nature and I will deeply miss him.

Maish was my doctor for 30 years in Los Gatos, CA.  I have been in the medical business for over 50 years and have met physicians from all over the world.  I can say I have never met any physician who was a "healer to the whole person" like Maish.  He certainly picked the right profession.  I will never find another like him.  I'm so glad I found him as  physician and friend!
