I worked with Mary for many years.  We shared each other’s joys as well as griefs and disappointments.  I am so sad to hear of her passing.  She was such an energetic and positive person.

Mrs Mary was my teacher at Cousins Middle School. Then she went on to be my caseworker at DFACS and she was a sweetheart may her soul RIH. Cynthia Nolley Covington, Ga.

My husband and I are friends of Mary's through Leon Lynn.  Mary was the most thoughtful and uplifting person I have ever met.  She had never met a stranger and did not know color.  I loved her attitude toward life and I shall always cherish our friendship.  She was a one of a kind friend to everyone!

Ms. Mary was my mentor,  my friend my stand in Mom.  She was my high school black history teacher and l became her student Assistant  and her babysitter for her beautiful little girls.
I will always cherish her kindness in my heart.  She was my hero and l will truly miss our many talks.
