I worked with Mary Lou at McInerney's / Oahu in the early 1970s.  She took me under her 'wing' and taught me the merchandising in's and out's - even taking me on buying trips to the 'mainland'.  She watched out for me as my relocation to Hawaii was the first time away from home.  Mary Lou was my teacher, mentor and friend.  My condolences to her family.
