Dear Family of Mary Elizabeth Jonas,
My mother, Dorothy Gilbert Hicks Pettit, was a close childhood friend of Mary Elizabeth.  When Mother passed away in 2007, Mary Elizabeth reach out to me by writing me and sending me articles and photos of Mother.  I had the privilege of visiting her in her home several years ago, and will never forget her kindness and love.
