I thank my Mother for my sisters. I love all of them dearly.
She taught me many things that have carried me through my life, and continue to serve me well.
Her gracious sacrifices for twelve years of multiple Dance classes weekly, and the four years I spent as a member of the Richmond Ballet Company while I was in high school have made an indelible imprint on my life. I am grateful that I continue to share a small part of that rich heritage of training and experience with students. Thank you Mama, for the gift of Dance in my life. It brings me joy and happiness, like nothing else.
First, I will miss you greatly, we became friends thru Jim's and Chuck's friendship. You were a true southern lady that in today's time is hard to recognize. We so enjoyed our get togethers and dinner outings and I miss Jim always giving me a trinket from his outings to the flee markets. Rest in peace my friend, will think of you often.
We first met Mary when we moved in across the street from them in 1996. Mary walked over and gave us a Christmas Cactus, We soon met Jim and you could not have asked for better friends and neighbors. Mary always told you what she thought. She was a good person and will be sorely missed. Your resting comfortably in the Arms of the Lord. God Bless, Linda & Randy
Mary Foote was my mother-in-law since 1979. We visited her and Jim in Virginia often. She was always gracious and made us feel welcome. I fondly remember visiting at Christmastime when she would have an open house for all her friends and family, and the house on LaFrance Road was filled with warmth. I miss those times and those visits.
Grandma Mary was a strong and passionate woman. She always kept busy, doing things that made a difference - things that helped others. I admired that and I will always remember that.
I'll do my best to follow the great example you set and help others as well.
I love you Grandma.
