My sympathies to the family of Mrs. Allen (as I knew her). When I was a first year teacher back in 1977, Mrs. Allen took me under her wing at Cumberland HS. She was a fantastic seamtress and a great baker, too. The science department was fortunate to have such a capable teacher. I still have some of the recipe cards she gave me. I will miss you, dear friend. You were a treasure!
