Hi, Mom--
Today is March 1, 2016, your 95th birthday. I miss you.
Love,
Jean
On September 30, 2016, a year has passed since you left us. We have not forgotten you. Family and friends still remember your smile and appreciation of their visits. We remember how much you liked dancing and homemaking.

Today is your 96th birthday. I wish you were still here for a special cake and a big bouquet of roses, like those that grew in your garden. How little we learn and too late the destructive power of bitterness. Loving is not easy and that is why it is so precious. We need to hold onto each little bit we get.

I want to remember you this day of your passing two years ago. It is indeed a significant day, as I was released from the hospital for cancer surgery just a week ago. I apologize for not getting you any flowers. Would you mind sharing some of mine? To this day I'm am grateful that you did not suffer in the end. Ever, Jean
For Mother's Day, May 13, 2018, I have added a photo of my mom and me taken in November 1944. She would have been 23 and I would have been 16 mos. Third Mother's Day without you.
Love,
Jean
October 13th, 1897, is the birth date for your mom and my grandmother, Margaret Tamburrino Centolanzi. In memory, I have added a photo of the two of you, taken in Colorado. I've also added a photo taken in 1945 of Ralph and Theresa Tamburrino, your grandparents (Nonnie's parents). I like the one of of your 80th, too.
To commemorate your passing on September 30, 2015.
March 1, 2019: Today would have been your your 98th birthday, and I have sad news for you. Your beloved brother, our Uncle Frank, passed away on February 21, 2019, at the age of 90, shortly after his birthday on January 11 of this year. He visited you almost every Friday, when you lived in San Jose and when you were in assisted living. We will always remember you both. Two photos posted.
Sept. 30, 2019 marks 4 years that you've been gone, but not forgotten. A very dear old friend Mary Gunsaulis (95) sent a very sweet note remembering you. Learning that your brother Frank passed on Feb. 21, 2019--shortly after his birthday Jan. 11--she remarked that she is the last of the 'old Paula Street gang.' Frank's memorial was on March 24, 2019. Photos of you and Frank added.

Today would have been your 99th birthday; would that you were here to celebrate it.
Love,
Jean
Today is March 1, 2021, the day which would have been your 100th birthday. I have posted a photo of you dancing at the Cypress Club, a place where you had friends and I think were happiest dancing and enjoying the music, May you always have music. You deserved better, but then so did the whole family. These last five years have seen some things that many of us would never thought could be.
