Mary A. Vanoni was a dedicated mother to me  She was the most gentle, caring, loving, and giving person that I have ever known. She was my hero, my mother, my friend and we shared many things together. Happy times that I will cherish forever in my heart, mind and spirit. She will always be remembered by all, and I do, and will, miss her. I love you mother....Christine Halsey....Daughter.

Mom Vanoni was like a real mom to me (although in reality she was my mother-in-law). She was also my hero, and a great and wonderful friend. We shared the same interest in singing and making each other laugh. I love her dearly, and will miss my friend/"Mom" deeply. I know that as I am writing this, she is up there singing with the angles. It is only fitting because she herself is an angel.

You always hear people say the most wonderful things and remind us of all the good qualities of those we've lost... While I may be biased, I can say with conviction that my grandmother not only possessed all the good qualities you can think of in a person, to my memory, she quite literally didn't have any of the bad ones.  She was the closest thing I've seen to living God's example of good

Dear Vanoni family,
I wish you all peace and comfort. Mary was a great treasure and will be missed so much. I remember singing with her in the 9:30 choir. She did the Soprano line. She was always happy and joking around with everyone. I will never forget how she knit a beautiful little white dress for my baby daughter. We still have it and cherish it. Great love to all of you.

Mary will truly be missed. Though I did not know her well, I do know many members of her family, her amazing legacy. Through them, it is clear to see that her smile, her kindness, her humor, and her love of life will live on. I have a feeling she is smiling down on you all and is feeling pretty proud of what she accomplish in her 95 years. Sending love to you all. LizAnn & Perry Nelson

Grandma showed me how true unconditional love should be.  A lesson I will hold dear to my heart always.

I will miss Mary very much I never called her Mary I always called her mom and it's very hard to even write this tribute because it brings tears to my eyes I can honestly say I love Mary and I love all her family. Charlotte is and always will be my very best friend and her family is like my family Mary was the rock in that family that kept everybody going and happy and loved. I love you mom until we meet again

I will miss Mary very much I also only called her Mom she was special to me my entire life, she was my son and daughter grandma and showed nothing but true love. It has been a blessing to have known her and she will always be in my heart. I Love you Mom.

I almost feel like I've grown up with Mary. She first hugged me when I was in the 2nd grade, and that's a long time ago.  Thru St Patrick's School and High School she was my second motherly influence. It is so sad that she is no longer with us.  She will always be with me spiritually. Maggie and I will always remember her with love.

I have been so saddened to hear about everything going on lately and to not be able to visit with her, pray with her, but believe I was praying for her. Glendora is very right, she was the definition of unconditional love. I don't think she ever had an angry hurtful bone in her body (her kids might have different stories ;) ) But she was one of the most loving people I knew.
